Examples
El mes siguiente voy a ir Europa.
Next month I am going to go to Europe.
En dos semanas iré a al dentista.
In two weeks I will go to the dentist.
- El futuro in Spanish, can also be used in the present for actions that will occur in a near future.
Example
Hoy en la noche iré a bailar con Nadia.
Tonight I will go dancing with Nadia.
- El futuro in Spanish, can also be used to express supposition in the present. This use of el futuro can be equivalent to the English expressions of: wonder, probably, must be and can

I wonder how much that car costs.
Serán las ocho de noche.
It must be eight o’clock at night;
It is probably eight o’clock at night.
- The form ‘ir a’ + verb indicates an action or event that will happen in the near future.

En la tarde iré a visitar a mi abuelita.
In the afternoon I will go visit my grandmother.
